CDM Co-ordinator
To ensure that all duty holders meet the requirements for qualifying projects. Review of design and attendance at both design team meetings and site progress meetings and attendance on site during the construction phase (subject to project's requirements).
CDM Advisory Services
The CDM regulations state that all non qualifying projects place a duty on the client to manage the project. Compass offers a service to support the client throughout the project.
Site Safe Auditing
Auditing / inspections within a site or place of work which includes a formal report on the findings and recommendations. Areas covered include safety standards, management and working practices.
General safety advisory service
Providing advice, guidance and support to organisations in relation to working policy, procedures and practices. We can provide a compliance audit which will details a companies position in terms of meeting the legislative requirements with detailed recommendations where applicable. We will then support the company in ensuring that it meets all legal obligations.
Other areas of support include Risk assessment, manual handling, Coshh assessment, DSE assessments, fire safety, first aid, working at height, asbestos, health and safety policy review including training requirements.
Fire Risk Assessment
Provided to ensure that clients are able to meet their obligations with regard to fire risk assessment, monitoring and support including training for fire marshals.
DSEAR Assessments
A review of the workplace and substances stored and used in relation to the requirements of Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations.
Project Management
Compass HSC Ltd has the capability and experience to manage all aspects of new build and refurbishment or demolition type projects. Specifically for small business we offer a cost effective retained service which for a nominal monthly fee we offer a retained service which provides access to a consultant for support and advice throughout the year and a monthly newsletter by email.
We also offer up to 15% discount for any work or training provided for our retained clients.
Safety Committee Management
We can provide a competent person to attend Safety Committee meetings in either an advisory capacity or alternatively we can chair the meetings and produce written records of events as a lead person.
