Compass is currently acting as CDM Co-ordinator on the following live projects:

New electrical sub station Refurbishment of 3 storey building to provide office accommodation.

New clinical annex suite and office accommodation.

Extension to a community centre.

Girl Guide UK – extensive refurbishment to listed buildings.

Refurbishment of Outdoor adventure and pursuits camp for physically and mentally handicapped people.

Refurbishment of a number of hotels such as bedroom and bar / function rooms.

New conference and office facilities at a North West Leisure Village.

CDM services for a 4 year programme of work to enable the client to meet the decent homes standard.

Fit out of a vacant unit to provide a restaurant and bar.

fit out of two units to form new cosmetic surgeries and theatres.

support services to the contractor carrying out steel work erection and cladding to a number of water treatment works at various locations.

installation of new machinery and cooling plant, building of a new fire station.

Façade upgrade to a nighclub in Blackpool.

The following projects have been completed successfully and with no major injuries to those directly or indirectly involved in the project:

Hotel refurbishments of function rooms, bedrooms in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, York, Manchester, Preston, Nottingham.

Cosmetic Surgeries in Nottingham and Glasgow.

Schools – 6 schools in the Bolton area ranging from classroom extension to forming new entrances and office accommodation.

University – refurbishment of library.

Hospital – upgrade to maternity unit, demolition of redundant office accommodation. Cooling projects for theatres and endoscopy.

New hospital buildings in Warrington.

Demolition of a paper mill in Blackburn.

Refurbishment of a convent in Carlisle.

Housing association – upgrade for decent homes including kitchens and bathrooms, Central heating, external repairs and electrical upgrades.

Public House refurbishment in Blackpool to provide a new nightclub and bar.
